The rumour mill has been in overdrive over the name of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's newborn baby daughter – but now, her name appears to have been confirmed.
She is called...
Wait for it.
Earlier this week it was widely thought the newborn had been named Kaidence Donda, a choice said to have been in honour of Kanye's late mum, but the TMZ website now reports that sources have seen a birth certificate at the Cedars-Sinai hospital signed by Kim, 32 and Kayne, 36, stating that the baby is called North West, with no middle name.
Friends of the family are also said to have told USWeekly that the little girl is indeed called North, but will be known as 'Nori' for short.
Kim previously laughed off suggestions that she and Kanye would consider North as a name, telling Jay Leno on the The Tonight show that she preferred 'Easton. Easton West.'
Kaidence, North, Nori...
We can't keep up.
What do you think of the name? North appears to have confounded the Parentdish baby name finder database of over 40,000 names. We had Kaidence and we have Northun and Northrup (both apparently meaning from the north farm!), but no North!!
