Paris Fashion Week: Giambattista Valli Autumn/Winter 2014

The Giambattista Valli Autumn/Winter 2014 catwalk mixed print and fur monochrome mini dresses, pastel pink outerwear, navy, floral print, red and metallic burgundy. The collection was all opulence, elegance and exactly what you'd expect during Paris Fashion Week.

Team the high shine ox-blood cocoon coat with matching skater dress and you're guaranteed to turn heads this Autumn. A-line was a big trend, kick-out skirts were hugely coveted as was rose print across beautifully structured, minimalist dresses.

Think art of seduction rather than anything floaty or girly-girl. These wares are for women.

It was ready-to-wear, yes, but there was a definite couture feel to this catwalk. The brocade, the lace, the glossy-gorgeousness of it all made this line one for those who do immaculate dressing down to a tee.

A classic black ankle boot goes with everything, and a fluoro handbag with cross-body strap brings a playful edge to a pristine pink dress.
