Paris Hilton has grouped herself with Albert Einstein in an interview with the Telegraph. Yes, really.
The socialite-turned-singer-turned-DJ came out with some absolute gems when speaking to the newspaper, but comparing herself to Einstein certainly took the biscuit.
She lives in a mansion with a private nightclub, describes herself as the "closest thing to American royalty" and has an entire room of Jimmy Choos. But she's adamant that she's down to earth and pretty normal like everyone else.
"The princess Barbie [image] is a fun character but in real life I'm very chill and down-to-earth normal," she told the paper.
Allegedly every square inch of wall is covered with pictures of herself, her face is emblazoned across cushions, a giant image of her made up of thousands of tiny images covers an entire wall and a huge portrait overlooks the staircase.
"I like it because it looks very regal," she explained. "In movies everyone always has an elegant picture painted of them and I was like, 'I need one of those'."
If that wasn't odd enough, her dog has its own private villa and she reckons her and and Einstein are on the same wave-length.
A big believer in astrology, the heiress cited her zodiac sign, Aquarius, as some kind of cosmic link to the German physicist, who was, actually a Pisces, not an Aquarian.
"We are social butterflies, humanitarians, geniuses," she said. "Einstein was one."
The 33-year-old also admitted used to cry and call her mum every time she read something critical about her. But now she knows who her real friends are.
"So many people have bad intentions, so many girls want to hang out [with me] to be someone," she crows.
"I weed those people out of my life. I call them hungry tigers."
Hmmm. Well, that was weird wasn't it?
