An 'absolutely thrilled' Peter Andre is to become a dad for the third time .
Peter has announced that his 23-year-old girlfriend Emily MacDonagh is pregnant and will give birth early next year.
The couple have been together for a year, and met via Emily's doctor dad, who treated Peter back in 2010.
Peter already has two children, Junior, seven, and Princess, five, with his ex-wife Katie Price, who is also currently pregnant with her new husband Kieran Hayler.
A friend of Peter and Emily told The Sun that they were 'over the moon' at the news.
"They absolutely adore each other, so having a baby together feels completely natural," the mole said. "They have only been together for a year, but they were friends for a long time before that."
"As far as they are concerned they are going to spend the rest of their lives together and will definitely get married in the next year or so."
The source added that Emily was unlikely to give up her planned career of medicine in order to be a full-time mum.
"Emily has just finished her degree at Bristol University and has passed all her exams," the friend confided. "She still wants to have a career as a doctor, so it is very unlikely she will be a stay at home mum."
