The Duchess of Cambridge's sister and her boyfriend were spotted by fellow passengers when they checked in for the FlyBe flight at Inverness airport on Sunday evening.
The pair, who are rumoured to be engaged, were spotted joking with friends at the check-in desk.
"I was pretty surprised to see them," one passenger told The Scotsman. "You don't really expect the sister of royalty to travel on an economy flight.

"There were around five or six of them and they all looked pretty relaxed. Pippa looked nice - as she always does.
"It seemed like everyone had enjoyed their holiday."
