While this marks a the first major plus-size ad campaign we've seen in a long time, we're not convinced it proves there's a change in the fashion industry.
It would be a little odd if a plus-size brand didn't use a plus-size model in its campaign. We'd be a lot more hopeful of a change if a retailer which didn't exclusively stock a plus-size range made Georgina the face of the brand. She is drop-dead gorgeous after all.
But whatever the weather, it's refreshing to see a variety of shapes and sizes represented across the industry. Agreed?
