Pregnant Kate Middleton Finally Shows Of Her Growing Bump On School Visit

The Duchess of Cambridge gave us the first proper glimpse of her growing bump today.

Pregnant Kate, who is around six months into her pregnancy, visited a school in Manchester to launch a new counselling programme alongside comedian John Bishop.

The Duchess wore a £1,065 fitted printed frock from Erdem to the launch at The Willows Primary School - on an estate where TV series Shameless is filmed.

She embraced the warmer weather with bare legs, and ditched her winter coat to reveal her round (ish!) tummy.

The counseling programme Kate was launching aims to help reduce the impact of drug and alcohol addiction on children and families in the area.

Kate took a tour of the school, which was recently the target for an arson attack destroying part of the playground. Staff and local residents have been working around the clock to try get the playground back to looking its best for the Royal visit, but still have some work to do.

"It has been so overwhelming" said headteacher Emily Smith. "It's restored my faith. People just turned up out of nowhere to help clear the place up."

Kate travelled to Manchester by train (no helicopter available?), and made her way to the school by car, arriving at lunchtime.

She was greeted by cheering school children and local residents, all waving flags for St George's Day. As ever there were plenty of gifts for the Duchess – including a hamper of treats for her beloved dog, Lupo.

Well, more inspired than another babygro, eh?
