His proud mum the Duchess of Cambridge announced he had reached a big milestone in his life when he started walking just last month. And now, adorable Prince George is taking on a new challenge...
The tot, who turned one earlier this week, is learning to swim! Hurrah!
But of course, a future king doesn't just head over to a little community swimming pool... he's learning in style. According to Mail Online, Kate has been taking her son on weekly swimming lessons at Buckingham Palace - not a bad place to go for your first paddle!
A source said: "The Duchess brings him up to the palace every week now."
Prince William spoke about his son's love of water and splashing around during bath-time when he was named president of the British Sub-Aqua Club.
Speaking at the event he joked: "At the moment bath time is quite painful, but hopefully donning a snorkel and mask might calm him down."
Kate and Wills celebrated their son's birthday this week, with guests Prince Harry, Zara Phillips and the Queen all heading over to Kensington Palace to join the party.
The family bash had a Peter Rabbit theme and was apparently organised by Kate's mum Carole Middleton who runs a kids party planning business.
But for the record... young George isn't the only famous tot paddling about in swimming pools, because earlier this week Kim Kardashian revealed little North West is also learning to swim.
Kim K took to Instagram - as you do - to reveal that her daughter took her first steps as she got out of the swimming pool.
The 33-year-old said: "Our baby girl finished one week of swimming lessons today then took her 1st steps right when she got out of the pool!!!! Mommy & Daddy are so proud of you!!!!"
