We'd all like a little cuddle with Royal baby George wouldn't we? (Well, wouldn't we???) But for us mere mortals that is but a distant dream – until now.
For one enterprising American company has created an almost life-sized porcelain lookalike of the little Prince, which can be all yours for the, er, princely sum of $149.99.
Come, come now. That's not spooky, or weird, Not at all!
The doll - from Ashton-Drake Galleries - is advertised as 'hand-crafted of fine bisque porcelain' and measures 'an impressive 20 inches long with poseable arms and legs.'
It is dressed in an elaborate christening gown, which an advert for it describes as 'inspired from the original commissioned by Queen Victoria in 1840.'
"It is exquisitely fashioned of satin and chiffon, and trimmed with lace and ribbon," the ad says.
It continues: "This hand-numbered, limited-edition commemorative baby doll comes complete with a pillow featuring the Prince's name and birth date, and a matching-numbered Certificate of Authenticity in a custom Collector's Box with a Collector's Card. All this can be your for $149.99, payable in five installments of $29.99, backed by our 365-day guarantee."
The offer is limited to only 95 days, with orders being served on a first-come, first-served basis. "Worldwide demand is expected, so DON'T WAIT," the ad yells.
The Ashton-Drake Galleries also make dolls of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as monkey dolls, Disney princess dolls and breast cancer awareness dolls.
