Enough of her snazzy dress sense. Here are four other things you need to know about the Queen of Spain.

1. She was a career girl. Before marrying into the Spanish royal family, Letizia was a journalist and news anchor... And she was a bit of a big deal. In 2000 Letizia reported from Washington on the presidential elections, in September 2001 she broadcast live from Ground Zero following the 9/11 attacks in New York and in 2003 she filed reports from Iraq following the war. Now that's an impressive CV.

2. She has been married before. Letizia was previously married to high school teacher Alonso Guerrero Perez. The pair tied the knot after 10 years together, but their marriage only lasted a year - they split in 1999.

3. She's a mum. Letizia and her second husband the Prince of Asturias have two daughters together. Leonor who was born in 2005 and Sofia born in 2007.
