Royal Baby Name: What Will Kate And William Call Their Son?

Royal Baby Name: What Will Kate And William Call Their Son?

Baby Cambridge has arrived!

Officially known as His Royal Highness, Prince x of Cambridge, Kate and Wills's new arrival is yet to be named.

So what are they couple's options?

Before Baby Cambridge arrived, George was the odds-on favourite for a boy, and Alexandra for a girl. However since the couple's son was born at 4.24pm yesterday, the odds on George have been slashed to 5/1, and the new front-runner, according to Coral betting, is James at 2/1.

According to our baby name finder, James means, 'supplant' or 'replace'. Which makes it pretty suitable as he will one dad replace his dad as King!

So those are the traditional options, but Kate and Wills are very much modern royals. There's going to be a revolution in the nursery, with no nanny and hands-on parents, so they could choose something a little more exciting.

We're thinking HRH Prince Zachary of Cambridge has a certain ring to it, or, just for giggles, a Brian or Bruce?

According to William Hill and Coral, the top 10 betted names are...

1) James (2/1)

2) George (5/1)

3) Henry (5/1)

4) Arthur (20/1)

5) Louis (25/1)

6) Albert (40/1)

7) Alexander (40/1)

8) Benjamin (40/1)

9) David (40/1)

10) Philip (40/1)

But what do you think?
