Royal Baby News: Hospital Reserves Car Parking For Kate As Due Date Approaches

As Kate's due date fast approaches, the hospital where she will give birth has banned drivers from parking outside the entrance.

Four parking bays have been closed and reserved for the Duchess of Cambridge and her protection officers outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington. The four bays cover 24 metres of space outside the private hospital.

The sign outside St Mary's tells members of the public that the four bays are closed between July 1 and July 31. Kate's due date was reported as July 15, but it is also speculated that it could be a week earlier. The hospital certainly isn't take any chances - early or late this baby will be getting VIP treatment.

According to Sky News, the bays will also be used for relatives following the Royal Baby's arrival - whenever that may be.

William is said to be planning to be with Kate when she gives birth, and will take two weeks paternity leave from his job in the RAF.

Kate is also said to want her mum, Carole, and sister, Pippa with her when she gives birth.

Good luck, Kate!
