Ryan Gosling Waxwork Unveiled At Madame Tussauds

Ryan Gosling has been officially immortalised as his waxwork likeness was unveiled at London's Madame Tussauds. But are we the only ones who thinks it's a little freaky?

While we wouldn't give a second thought to pulling on a pair of leggings with the Gosling's face emblazoned all over them, his waxwork figure is scaring us half to death.

However, if One Direction's big waxwork reveal is anything to go by Madame Tussauds will be sure to have a massive box of tissues to hand when hoards of tearful girls set eyes on the figure for the first time.

In June 2013, the museum was given an "emergency supply" of 150 boxes of tissues to wipe away the tears of hysterical teenage girls visiting wax replicas of Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan.

Matthew Clarkson, Marketing manager for Madame Tussauds London told the Independent ahead of Ryan's unveiling that is was difficult to predict if Gosling will bring in the same crowd.

"One Direction are a phenomena and the attention for them in the attraction has certainly not died down," he explained.

"It's hard to say if Ryan will receive the same attention although from early reactions we know he is VERY popular! The tissue attendant may well be called into action for the summer."

The Oscar-nominated actor - who broke our heart earlier this month when it was announced he is expecting a baby with his gorgeous Hollywood girlfriend Eva Mendes - is only making a temporary 'guest appearance' in London before taking up a permanent residence at Madame Tussauds in Orlando, Florida.
