Sheridan Smith was ultra-glamorous as she arrived at the 41st International Emmy Awards at the Hilton New York hotel on Monday night.
The actress was nominated for her performance as Ronnie Biggs' wife in TV drama Mrs Biggs.
And she looked stunning for her moment in the American limelight, working a glittering black dress with a short hemline and sheer overlay, featuring sparkly cutout fringing down the back and into the skirt.
The frock also featured cutout sides that showed off a bit of sideboob but, mainly, the Flapper-style frock was pure class.
Sheridan finished with a 60s-inspired backcombed updo and black stilettos.
She missed out on the award, apologising to fans on Twitter: "I lost @iemmys to Fernanda Montenegro from Brazil. So sorry UK x."
But she definitely flew the flag for British style.
