1. Don't go head-to-toe but if you're wearing a dress, do choose contrasting shades for lips and nails.
2. When it comes to accessorising, yellow gold complements the shade a million times better than silver.
3. Red, believe it on not, goes with so much it's practically a neutral. So, if you're splashing out on shoes or a bag but don't want to go for the usual black, navy or brown feel safe in the knowledge red will serve you well.
