Eyewear company Tzukuri has created a pair of shades designed to ping you a message if you misplace them. Yes, really.
The glasses contain Bluetooth technology which connects to your phone. By simply turning on Bluetooth and downloading the corresponding app, you're connected.
So how does it work? Well, you'll start to get notifications when you leave your glasses at least 16 feet from your person (well, phone) and they offer you the power to locate said glasses using a map tool. Genius, no?
Well, kind of. We love the idea but what if you lose your phone? Or you leave your sunglasses on a plane? Or the place you decide to keep your sunglasses happens to be 16 feet away from your phone and you have to put up with constant "hey, you've lost me" notifications?
And for $350 a pair, we're not entirely convinced.
