A six-month-old baby in the UK has probably already travelled more than 800 miles - the equivalent of a journey from London to the South of France - a study has revealed.
Most of the miles can be accounted for by everyday life - trips to the shop or the park, for instance. But tots also rack up miles on family holidays, which are increasingly taking the form of short 'staycations' rather than overseas travel.
