The Queen Hates It, But Prince Harry Won't Shave His Beard Until Cressida Bonas Has Seen It

It turns out the Queen isn't a fan of Prince Harry's facial hair. In fact she dislikes it so much, she's told him to shave it off!

The Sunday Express reports Harry has been told the Queen "intensely dislikes" facial hair, but he refuses to shave it off until after his girlfriend Cressida Bonas has seen it.

The prince's beard grew while on his charity trek in the South Pole and according to a royal insider his cousin Zara Philips loved it and nicknamed him 'Prince Hairy'. Hilarious!

The source told the Express: "The Queen soon let her displeasure be known. She doesn't mind royal men growing beards when they are away in the Armed Forces or out in the wilds like Harry was in the Antarctic, but she expects them to be clean-shaven when they get home.

"Royal staff are not supposed to grow beards or moustaches and she probably thinks it is difficult to enforce that rule when her own grandson has a beard.

"Harry doesn't like to upset the Queen and will probably shave it off soon but he is still a bit of a rebel and he wasn't going to remove it straight away. He wanted to show it off to Cressida first and see what she thought of it."

The cute couple couldn't have been further apart during the festive period. According to reports Cressida was chilling in the Caribbean while the Prince partied with friends in a Berkshire pub.

More Harry, but of course!
