Are you rubbish at sticking to your workout routine? This new techy bracelet by Pavlok is for you.
In fact, there's a reason why there's a thunderbolt symbol on this controlling wristband - it shocks you if you skip the gym.
Sounds painful, but the idea behind this shock method is it forces you to stay on track and stick to goals - absolutely no slacking - so that they become easier and "automatic".
It also shares messages about your performance on Facebook, so all your friends can see just how much of a workout junkie you really are. Cringe.
The brand's website reveals "Pavlok doesn't just track what you do. It transforms who you are", and wait, it gets better because it also promises to make you "a better you".
That's a bold statement but this "real voltage" thing is way too pushy for our liking. We get the pros in having a "coach on your wrist" - especially on the days when we just can't face the gym - but electrocution? Is it really necessary?
