Tinder Makes Its First Match In... Antarctica!

Mobile dating app Tinder has made its first match in Antarctica as American scientist based on the frozen continent finds love with fellow researcher.

In a truth is stranger than fiction love story a scientist based at the McMurdo Station in Antarctica, bored one lonely night, decided to log on to Tinder "just for fun," according to Elite Daily.

Unsurprisingly no profiles showed up. But expanding his location radius he found someone just a 45-minute helicopter ride away. He clicked like and a matter of minutes later the pair matched.

If there were a more appropriate time to say, "dat sh*t cray" then we'll eat our hat.

"She was actually in her tent in the Dry Valleys when we matched," said the scientist, who asked not to be named out of concern that the government would take away his internet privileges if anyone found out he was using it to hook up.

"She was quite literally camping in Antarctica, went on Tinder, and found me. It's mind-blowing."
