Victoria And David Beckham Hire Housekeeper From Buckingham Palace

They are the royalty of the celebrity world and now Victoria and David Beckham have the housekeeper to prove it.

The pair have recruited a butler who used to work for the royal family. Fancy, huh?! And according to The Mirror, the new member of staff will look after cleaning, ironing, dog walking and grooming.

The housekeeper will help with the upkeep of their new West London mansion. It's a shame the butler hasn't gone from working at Buckingham Palace to Beckingham Palace, their lavish home in Hertfordshire, which they recently sold.

A source told the newspaper: "They needed a new housekeeper and, hands down, he was the best applicant. His CV was pretty impressive and, obviously, having a former Buckingham Palace member of staff is quite a boon.

"Victoria is delighted, and he is fitting in really well with the family."

Word on the street has it the Beckhams, who have been married for 15 years (how time flies!), are paying the butler significantly more than the £15,000 a year salary he was previously on. Well, if you want to secure a former employee of the royals you have to be willing to pay the price!

Last year, the fashion forward former Spice Girl, 40, revealed she had five members of staff, including a nanny for her four children and a chef.

We wonder if the new butler helped out with little Harper's third birthday celebrations. It was pretty extravagant with hundreds of balloons!

If this isn't the best reason ever to look at pictures of David Beckham, we don't know what is!! Hurrah!
