Victoria Beckham's Diet: Star Reveals Her Favourite Superfood On Twitter

Victoria Beckham always looks flawless. She's got the shiny hair, the gorgeous glowy skin and naturally, the incredible wardrobe.

So do we want to know what superfood she swears by? Er, hells yeah, and joyfully VB has revealed it on Twitter as... acai berries!

So, what does this food do and why should you give it a try too? Here's three health benefits of acai berries:

1. They contain antioxidants and fatty acids which, according to the Health Sciences Institute, are great for keeping us healthy.

2. They have 30 times the amount of antioxidants in comparison to red wine (sorry).

3. They are high in vitamin B, protein and potassium.

In the past, Beckham has always been open about the fact she does not naturally have the radiant skin we all see in paparazzi pictures.

The 39-year-old star has confessed to suffering from acne and her dermatologist, LA-based Dr Harold Lancer revealed to the Daily Mail earlier this year she achieved a natural glow through diet.

Describing her as a "natural beauty" he said: "She's an incredible health nut – she watches her diet, her exercise, she sort of leads an ideal healthy life.

"She's an example of how skincare products can be used to convince tissue to heal itself from the outside in and the inside out.'

"She suffered badly from acne but [her skin now] is totally self resolved. She pays meticulous attention to product use and lifestyle.

"And I supervised all of it so I assure you nobody has touched her with any surgical implements or lasers."

So, yeah, pass us the acai berries...
