Metro reports Alica Rae Hanson, 25, was accused of attacking the victim for wearing short shorts in the company of her boyfriend at a summer gathering in Snohomish, Washington.

After confronting her on the matter, Hanson proceeded to punch her to the floor, jump on her and started pulling her hair out.

According to the newspaper, police arrived on the scene to see a pile of hair extensions (presumably those ripped from the victim's head) laid out on the table.

The victim said Hanson addressed the matter of her outfit by "claiming that they were too short for the BBQ party," before she started to act "in an aggressive manner".

Snohomish Country prosecutors working on the case filed documents last week charging Hanson with second-degree assault. Doctors confirmed the woman had been left with bleeding in one eye as well as broken facial bones.

A pair of Daisy Dukes are definitely attention-grabbing, but attacking a girl for wearing a pair? It's both shocking and unforgivable.
