World Cup 2014: Easy Nail Art To Celebrate The Tournament

Whether you love it or hate it, there's really no avoiding the World Cup. For the next month, football fever will be sweeping the nation and even if you're not glued to the television before every game, there's nothing like a bit of patriotic nail art to get yourself into the spirit of things.

If you're supporting England this tournament, take a look at this how-to guide for getting red, white and blue striped nails from Revlon's UK nail ambassador Jenny Longworth below.

It's quick and easy to do, you'll just need to invest in a good nail art kit (Topshop has a great five-brush set for £10) and before you start, check you've got the three staple nail shades (or the colours of your team) ready to go.

Want to give this nail design a try? Here's what you need to do:

1. Prepare the nail with one coat of base coat.

2. Apply two coats of white nail polish - Jenni used Revlon's White on White Nail Enamel.

3. Create navy blue splatters by applying Revlon's Urban Nail Enamel horizontally across the nail using your nail art detailer brush. Repeat this process with a bright red colour - try Revlon Red.

4. To add gloss and seal the design, add a quick-drying top coat and try not to smudge!
