Zara Phillips Arrives At Aintree Races On Grand National Day Looking Stunning In Blue

Zara Phillips arrived at the Aintree races in Liverpool on day three, Grand National day, showing the crowds exactly how to master the art of dressing like a lady.

The 32-year-old royal looked beautiful in a blue tweed, collarless coat worn over a navy dress with matching envelope clutch bag and black heels.

On the fascinator front? Zara opted for a petrol blue pillbox hat with flower and feather detailing. Being the second-eldest grandchild of the Queen means she's always immaculate in every way, especially when it comes to fancy head gear.

While there are strict style and etiquette rules for the Grand National, there are those race-goers who pitch up in some pretty shocking, totally OTT attire - we've already seen plunging gowns, cheese biscuit hats and a whole lot of self tan.

However, Zara's elegant blue ensemble was subtle and sophisticated. The swept up hairdo and minimal jewellery proved that less is always more. AND a sweep of lipgloss is always key to dressing up your look.

While there was no sign of her baby daughter, Mia Grace, Zara's mother Anne, Princess Royal was spotted in a fabulous blue and green button down coat.

Princess Anne's wide-brim hat? Think fur detailing, feathers and the perfect peak. Both mother and daughter have serious talents when it comes to anything equestrian so all the annual races are a big deal.
