After getting plenty of practice at being the perfect bridesmaid at her friends' weddings, Jen Glantz has decided to make it her profession.

The 26-year old New Yorker posted her unique advert for her bridesmaid services on US jobs site Craiglist saying, "I've always loved weddings and I love being a part of them."

Sounds weird? Jen's advert went down surprisingly well - she received emails from women all over the world within hours.

"Some said their friends weren't very god at helping plan the big day, others said their best friends were too far away to come to their wedding," she explained. "Some people just didn't have close friends."

The bridesmaid pro admits that although she has been inundated with requests, she hasn't yet set a price on her services.

"It's all a matter of what the budget is and what the couple can pay me," says Jen. "I don't think having a professional bridesmaid should necessarily be expensive and I want to be able to work with all sorts of budgets."

However, Jen has got one aim in mind - she hopes that attending so many weddings will lead to her own romance.

"I really would like to find my own Mr Right," said the 26-year old, "I hope it's not a case of always the bridesmaid, never the bride."
