Mel B, who joins Cheryl Fernandez-Versini as a judge on the show, reportedly asked Victoria to join her in Mexico for an on-screen critique of her X Factor recruits. Her new judging role will see her take six hand-picked male contestants to Cancun for the best portion of the series - the judges houses.
However, it seems an X Factor appearance from VB is unlikely given that in January, Victoria already shut down the possibility of any more Spice Girls reunions once and for all.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Victoria stated, "I won't ever do it again. Doing the Olympics was an incredible honor. I was so proud to do it; proud to be British...That was a perfect time to say, "That's great. Thank you to everybody, but no more.' Sometimes you've got to know when it's time to leave the party."
Victoria might not be keen, but Mel is hoping one of her other former bandmates might step up to the role.
"Victoria has already indicated she won't be able to do it but Mel hopes at least one of the others will help her out," a source told The Sun.
Will there be a last-minute appearance from Baby, Sporty or Ginger? Fingers crossed at least one of them reunite with poor old Scary.
In other Spice Girls news, Mrs Beckham is auctioning off items from her designer wardrobe. Find out why in the video below:
