Rachel Bilson this week enjoyed her first baby shower - but it wasn't quite as traditional as you might imagine.
The Hart of Dixie actress is expecting her first baby with beau Hayden Christensen, and friends and family helped her celebrate with a baby shower at a private home in LA.
Celebrity guests included Hayden's Star Wars co-star Natalie Portman, as well as another actress pal, Jaime King.
But, get this, unlike most other celeb mums with a gift-list as long as their leg, Rachel wanted her presents to be a bit more spiritual.
According to US Weekly: "Instead of gifts, everyone brought a birth bead. Each person gave her a piece of advice and a blessing along with the bead."
The beads were then stranded together to make a necklace for Bilson, who "will use the beads for strength during labour," added the source.
And her guests didn't leave empty-handed either, going home with party favours, including tea and mints that came in boxes tagged: "Rachel & Baby, Mint to Be." Awww. Cute.
A source at the time told US Weekly: "They've both talked about this for a while and are so excited. Everyone is beyond thrilled for them.
"They will make wonderful, hands-on parents."
Rachel and Hayden have been dating for seven years after meeting in 2007 on the set of Jumper.
