To celebrate the release of Planes 2: Fire & Rescue this summer, we're giving one adult and one child the chance to unleash their adventurous side on a 24 Hour Family Survival Course at Bear Grylls Survival Academy!
Bear Grylls has lent his voice to Disney's big summer movie to the character of 'Avalanche', one of the fun-loving smoke jumpers. As Bear, the action man hero, gets to show off his comedic talents in his first ever movie voice-over role, we are pleased to give a rare chance for a lucky few outdoor enthusiasts to learn Bear's extreme survival techniques.
The Bear Grylls Survival Academy offers survival courses that will run at various locations in the UK across varied woodland, heathland and water terrain. Techniques taught will include learning how to build and light a fire, how to navigate by day and night, foraging, building a shelter, extreme weather survival and river/lake crossings.
Visit the website for a full list of courses available.
Planes 2: Fire & Rescue is a new comedy-adventure featuring a dynamic crew of elite firefighting aircrafts who are devoted to protecting Piston Peak National Park from raging wildfires.
In a story of bravery, teamwork and heroism, world-famous Dusty (voice of Dane Cook) is launched into the world of aerial firefighting, joining forces with helicopter Blade Ranger (voice of Ed Harris), air tanker Dipper (voice of Julie Bowen) and a lively bunch of brave all-terrain vehicles known as The Smokejumpers. Together, the fearless team battles a massive wildfire and Dusty learns what it takes to become a true hero.
Planes 2: Fire & Rescue is released in 3D in Scotland now and across the rest of the country on August 8.
