It was a bit of a BFF fest in California last night as Hollywood's actors, actresses and singers came out to support a cancer charity.

Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston and Gwyneth Paltrow, who is an executive producer for the event which runs every year, were among the famous faces to attend the Stand Up To Cancer event, held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Other stars to pitch up for the fundraiser included actor Ben Stiller, Mad Men star John Hamm, rapper Common and US journalist Katie Couric. Everyone who attended wore a charity T-shirt, but Aniston customised hers to highlight the loved ones she was fundraising in memory of.

Speaking on stage at the event and encouraging the public to donate, Aniston said: "We have to keep rising as one, because cancer keeps going after the ones we love. This is just enough, we have the power to change this."

After the event, Witherspoon took to Instagram to reflect on the night and posted a picture of her with Aniston. Alongside the snap, the Legally Blonde star said: "Such an honour to reunite with so many lovely souls last night - including my sister #JenniferAniston - for a meaningful cause #SU2C!!!"

Jennifer Hudson performed at the event alongside the likes of Ariana Grande, The Who, and Dave Matthews.
