Vanity Fair's Royal Watch reports Harry attended a dinner with 30 of his closest friends at Clarence House on Wednesday.

It had previously been thought the event was being organised by his sister-in-law the Duchess of Cambridge at her Kensington Palace apartments, but it seems those plans were changed when Kate starting suffering from morning sickness.

While Kate stayed at home to rest, sources told the magazine Kate's sister Pippa stepped in to plan the party with one of Harry's oldest friends Guy Pelly.

And there was a "white" theme. The palace was reportedly turned into a ski-lodge style nightclub, with snow machines and some "very special cocktails."

As for the food, it sounds like Harry enjoyed quite the feast - despite Kate's absence.

"William and Kate had originally planned the celebration at the palace, and Kate had wanted to cook Harry's favorite dishes - beef wellington and fish pie, which were still on last night's menu - but a chef was summoned to help out instead at Clarence House, Prince Charles's official London residence," Vanity Fair reports.

The meal ended with Eton Mess and Prince Charles is said to have supplied the booze - champagne from Highgrove and a few bottles of claret.

Sounds like there could be a few hangovers this morning.
