Kate Middleton Set To Return To Public Engagements After Acute Morning Sickness

Since she announced she is expecting her second child, Kate Middleton has been suffering with hyperemesis gravidarum - acute morning sickness. But the palace has now revealed that she is slowly recovering and will be returning to the public spotlight soon.

According to the Daily Mail, the Duchess is planning to resume official engagements next month, with a royal spokesman telling the paper: "There will be engagements in October and November. We just haven't announced them yet."

Kate was last seen during a public engagement when she opened a poppy installation at the Tower of London with Prince William and Prince Harry.

The news of her pregnancy came to light when she was due to join husband William at an engagement in Oxford but was too ill.

Over the weekend of 20 September, the Duchess was forced to pull out of a planned trip to Malta to celebrate the former British colony's 50th anniversary of independence on a two-day tour.

Prince William kindly stepped in instead, and offered health updates about his wife to well-wishers while he was there.

Just the week before, Kate also had to pull out of attending the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games, where she had wanted to support her brother-in-law Prince Harry.

So we're sure she'll be super-excited about feeling better and getting her gladrags back on for a glamorous return to the limelight. Or is that just our excitement talking?
