Paris Fashion Week: Valentino Spring/Summer 2015

"The culture of beauty continues with seahorses and marine themed journeys to far away lands," Valentino added to its show commentary on Twitter, alongside a picture of printed mini dress paired with gladiator-style sandals.

When the prints weren't sea-inspired (the starfish print maxi dress worn by Edie Campbell was a particular highlight), "baroque blooms" added a touch of romance to the collection.

As always, the attention to detail was beyond stunning. This "artisan craftmanship" was seen on tailored pieces adorned with multi-coloured stone fragments while a series of white lace dresses were fit for any boho bride.

And in-keeping with the marine theme, the seashell hair accessories have to be some of the best we've seen during fashion month...
