Stella McCartney And Kate Moss Team Up For Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Stella McCartney and Kate Moss have joined forces for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

The British fashion designer has teamed up with her supermodel pal to launch a neon pink lingerie set as part of the her Autumn/Winter 2014 collection.

Profits from the set will be donated to both Breast Cancer Awareness and the Linda McCartney Centre - an environment for breast cancer patients and their families based at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital.

Yes, that would be La Moss modelling Stella's Gemma Relaxing bra, and yes that's the Breast Cancer Awareness pink ribbon covering her nipple.

FYI that makes this shot by photographers Mert & Marcus appropriate for Facebook and Instagram so that it can be shared to spread awareness throughout October. Good thinking.

"I wanted to remind women that when they wear this set, the first thing they put on in the morning, to keep on top of their health and visit their doctor regularly.

"I wanted it to be the initial starting point of awareness of this terrible illness. Not only does the set serve as a healthy reminder, but it looks great, fits incredible well, and is comfortable and stylish," McCartney said.

On calling in her bestie Kate Moss, Stella said "Kate is a strong feminine woman with a daughter and a husband; a strong family unit. For her it was important to bring awareness to this campaign to keep families together.

"Women are an integral part of the family unit, they keep and hold families together and are a source of strength".

Love this lingerie set? Prices range from £27 for the bikini brief to £50 for the Balconnet bra and it's available online at stellamccartney.com, Stella McCartney stores and select department and specialty stores worldwide.
