Yep, Sofia's style is remarkably similar to Kate Middleton's look in her official engagement photos with Prince William, shot by Mario Testino in 2011.

Both ladies sport gorgeous soft brunette waves and the pose struck by both couples is very similar. Their dresses both feature three-quarter-length sleeves, while both ladies sport soft pink lips and natural makeup.

Kate chose to wear a cream dress from Reiss for her official pics, and inadvertently caused an online shopping furore - and an instant sellout - in the process.

Sofia, meanwhile, even chose a blue dress, which is also similar to the Issa dress Kate wore when her engagement to William was announced.

Carl Philip and Ms Hellqvist announced their engagement in June after four years together.

The pair started dating in 2009, and the match was reportedly not exactly approved of by Queen Silvia, Prince Carl Philip's mother.

According to the Daily Mail, Sofia, a former glamour model, had appeared in the "sex and alcohol-fuelled" reality TV series Paradise Hotel.

The paper reports that the show included scenes of Sofia kissing porn star Jemma Jameson.

However, she looks like a real lady in the beautiful pictures that have just been released.

We're sure Kate would give her royal seal of approval.
