Dad Makes Daughter Wear Cartoon Backpack And 'I'm 10' T-Shirt After Catching Her Dating Older Boy

Dad's Parenting Technique After Catching His Kid Dating An Older Boy

Since the dawn of time, kids have been trying to look and act older than they are. Most kids however, don't have a dad like Kevin Jones.

When the father from Louisville, Kentucky, found out his 10-year-old daughter had set up social media accounts trying to pass off being a teenager, and had a boyfriend, he hit the roof.

He decided that rather than grounding her until 2020, he was going to teach her a lesson about kids being kids.

He made a cutesy t-shirt telling the world she was 10 years old and in 5th grade, popped a princess backpack on her shoulders and tied her hair in barrettes and bows.

He posted all of the above on his Facebook wall which has now got 250,000 plus likes and nearly 4,000 comments.

Below the photo he writes:

"Since my beautiful daughter... wants to be grown and lie about her age. Saying she is 14,15,16,&18 years old. She claims to be in love and going out with a boyfriend which is completely against my rules!!!!

"I uncovered that she has been doing this for quite some time. She also has snuck and obtained social media accounts, also against my rules!!!! Here's the consequences behind her actions. An age defining shirt. Yes people she is 5'9 & 10years old."

In response, some people said: "Good job Dad" and "She'll thank you when she's older." However some voiced concern that she might be bullied in school because of her dad "embarrassing her".

What are your thoughts? Did Kevin Jones take it too far? Tell us in the comments below...
