Pictures of Nicole Scherzinger in full costume for her new role in Cats the musical have been released. And the singer still managed to look stunning in full face-paint.
The former X Factor judge joins the production for its return later this year, and the first photos have been released ahead of cast rehearsals next month.
MTV tweeted the picture below on Wednesday morning.
Andrew Lloyd Webber took to Twitter in September to announce that Nic will make her West End debut in the revival of the iconic show.
Scherzinger will play Grizabella the Glamour Cat in the hit show, which is based on TS Eliot's 'Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats', and first opened at the New London Theatre in 1981.
She follows in the footsteps of 75 actresses who have played the famous role, including the likes of Elaine Page.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Nicole discussed how she identified with the "broken" character, saying: "There are so many layers to her.. no wonder Eliot warned it was too sad for children. Grizabella's broken, and I know what that feels like, to be broken not only on the inside from personal relationships, but in many ways.
"She's been shunned and mistreated by society, and her people. I understand feeling like an outcast, feeling like an outsider, feeling like I don't fit in and wanting to be accepted."
Nic has a bespoke costume made for her by award-winning designer John Napier, and is waiting for the rehearsals to sing the musical's famous song, 'Memory'.
She said Lloyd-Webber hasn't heard her sing it yet, but she did once record a version of the song with the band Il Divo.
Cats returns to the London Palladium from the 6 December to 7 February 2015, and Nicole will perform eight shows a week in the two-month run.
