Callum, who is Chris and Sarra's first child together, was born extremely prematurely at 29 weeks on 15 October, well shy of his 27 December due date.
Chris announced the birth on Twitter last month, telling fans of his mixed emotions over welcoming their firstborn in such difficult circumstances.

Shortly after the announcement, Chris shared a close-up photo of Callum grabbing his dad's finger with his tiny fist, praising medical staff for their
At the time, Chris tweeted that he and Sarra had been 'overwhelmed' the love and support shown by fans online.
Sarra was particularly moved by parents who tweeted at her to share their own experience of giving birth to a premature baby who went on to thrive.

A week later, Chris returned to Twitter to thank wellwishers for their support, telling them that 'wee baby Callum is getting a little stronger every day'.
And with this latest update, the Olympian assures fans that his little boy is continuing to improve under the care of medical staff who he described last month as 'amazing'. We can't wait to see a snap of Callum at home in the near future!
