Kim Kardashian is the queen of selfies. So we weren't too surprised when it emerged she was creating a book made up of some of her favourite selfies titled Selfish.
Plans for the book, which will contain nothing but selfies (yes, that's page after page of Kim Kardashian pictures!!), were revealed in August but now it has an official release date and will be found on a shelf near you from April 28 next year, Us Weekly reports.
The publisher of the 352 page book described Kim as "one of the most recognisable and iconic celebrities in the world."
It goes on to claim that Kim has been hailed by many, including designer Riccardo Tisci, "as the modern-day personification of Marilyn Monroe", and a "true American icon".
While the Mail Online reports that another biographical note says: "A new mom to her daughter, North, and happily married to the rapper Kanye West, Kim Kardashian is on top of the world, and this collection of hand-picked images from her personal archive is a tribute to her fans who have supported her through her very highly publicised journey."
There's no denying that Kim has more than enough material to create the book, with more than 2,000 pictures on her Instagram account and a high majority of those being selfies. Reports suggest that Kim took more than 1,200 selfies in one holiday alone.
Selfish was confirmed during an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians and it all stemmed from a collection of Polaroid photos Kim gave to her husband Kanye West for Valentine's Day.
