Kate Middleton and Prince William love a bit of sofa-surfing while watching TV, just like the rest of us. But what's been tickling their TV fancy of late?

Well, according to Damian Lewis, they're big fans of his hit show Homeland.

Prince WIlliam revealed the couple watch the show when he awarded Damian with an OBE for his services to drama this week.

Damian, 43, plays Sergeant Nicholas Brody on the American drama, which sees him return as a turned prisoner of war to the US. He famously co-stars with Claire Danes in the hit programme, and has won an Emmy Award and Golden Globe for his role.

Speaking about his encounter with Prince William, Damian told Hello Magazine: "He said 'Catherine and I are huge Homeland fans'.

"He said 'you appeared again the other night briefly, and we all got very excited,' which is true, but it was also on Sunday night which means he is absolutely up to date with the latest episode and I'm amazed they have time for that."

Back in April, we also found out that the Duke and Duchess are avid watchers of The Apprentice, and Wills even asked star of the show Karren Brady when it was airing again when she visited Buckingham Palace.

"He asked me when it was coming back on," Brady told reporters. "I know that he and the Duchess of Cambridge are big fans of the show."

And, of course, everybody knows they love a bit of Downton Abbey. Prince William told Allen Leech, who plays Branson, that he started watching it after little Prince George was born.

The surprise show we didn't expect Kate to love? Keeping Up With Kardashians. Yup, it's Kate's guilty pleasure, too. Ahh, we knew we'd make perfect BFFs...
