London Fashion Week: Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2015

16/12/2014 12:08 | Updated 20 May 2015

Christopher Bailey's Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2015 catwalk at the West Albert Lawn in Kensington Gardens during London Fashion Week was beyond beautiful.

Think brights, bows, bugs and luxe leather handbags.

Inspired by 'The Birds and the Bees' the collection was a rainbow of colours. We're talking spectacular blue, lilac, green, yellow, orange, pink and purple worked across trademark trench coats (belted with chiffon bows), tunic dresses, sheer pleated skirts and cropped denim jackets.

The Burberry woman mixes in it all, all at once. And she does it wearing killer red lipstick.

Not only can she pull off cobweb tulle gowns, bugs-on-everything and head-turning book-cover print outerwear but she wears multicoloured trainers and carries personalised Burberry Bee handbags. In that signature Horseferry check.

Texture was key to the collection: chiffon was paired with patent, denim, suede, velvet and fleece.

Burberry models Jourdan Dunn, Suki Waterhouse and Malaika Firth showcased key looks including - next season's power piece - said denim jacket *with* feather hem, sequin appliqué skirt, bug clutch bag and mannish flat sandals.

As for the FRow clique? Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne pitched up together in top-to-toe Burberry.
