Noel Gallagher committed the cardinal sin of fatherhood by embarrassing his daughter Anais in front of her schoolgirl crush, Harry Styles.
Former Oasis star Noel, 47, made Anais burn with horror when he shouted out to the One Direction star while the dad and daughter were sitting in a café.
Fourteen-year-old Anais – Noel's daughter with Meg Matthews - recounted the kill-me-now moment during an interview with Grazia magazine.
She said she's a big fan of the former X Factor band but she was left mortified after her embarrassing dad intervened when they first met.
Anais said: "Harry seems really nice. I was in a cafe once and Harry came in. I'd been joking that I'd probably wet myself if 1D walked in.
"So my dad started kicking me under the table and shouted, 'Are you going to wet yourself now?' I literally died.'"
Noel had arranged tickets for 1D's Take Me Home tour in 2011, after which his daughter tweeted: "best night ever xx loved it truly rocked it better than my dad noel Gallagher thanks @Harry_Styles for arranging it."
Anais says she has inherited her dad's dry sense of humour – as well as his eyebrows.
She said: "I've got the same dry northern humour as Dad and we've got the same eyebrows. But I've got Mum's energy and her outlook on the world."
Noel has previously been approached by Simon Cowell about being a judge on The X Factor and Anais is still upset he turned it down.
She said: "I'm still a little bit upset I don't get to go every week. He would have been hilarious and scarier than Simon."
Teen model Anais started her own TV career this year when it was revealed she will take over the style section of CBBC's Friday Download from Dionne Bromfield this May.
