Sir Elton John and David Furnish have got married exactly nine years after they tied the knot in a civil partnership ceremony.

The musician married his partner at their Windsor estate and a host of stars joined them for the celebrations, with Sir Elton posting photographs of the event online throughout the day.

On Twitter he directed people to Instagram where he said he and Furnish would be sharing "special moments" from their Big Day.
One of the photos showed the couple after doing the "legal bit", writing: "That's the legal bit done. Now on to the ceremony! #ShareTheLove @DavidFurnish."
