Kerry Katona has publicly shamed her 13-year-old daughter Molly over her untidy bedroom.
The mum-of-five took to Twitter to share her despair at the state of Molly's room in a series of light-hearted Tweets, remarking: "It's like another world under her bed!"
Any parent of a teenager will surely relate, though perhaps sharing the news with 443,000 people (that's Kerry's number of Twitter followers) might end up doing more harm than good.
After all, hell hath no fury like an embarrassed teen!
Still, you have to feel sympathy for the Atomic Kitten who, clearly at her wits' end with nagging Molly to Tidy Your Room, took matters into her own hands.
In an exasperated series of messages, Kerry, 34, wrote of her eldest daughter – whose dad is Bryan McFadden:
Molly not back to school til 2morrow, so gutting her room!! My god!!! Never seen anything like it!! It's like another world under her bed!!!
She then continued:
It's a wonder she's not got bleeding mice!! I swear.. The room has it's own galaxy!!!
After she'd finished cleaning, Kerry Tweeted:
Omg only just finished cleaning Molly's room and getting it all organised! I swear if I see one cup or pair of odd socks on the floor.....!!
Fortunately for Molly, her mum has spared her the ultimate shame of posting a picture of her messy bedroom online.
But perhaps Kerry is saving that punishment for the future if the teenager doesn't start putting her things away!
Earlier, Kerry admitted she'd been upset to spend Christmas apart from Molly and her other daughter with Bryan, Lilly - who were with their dad and his family for the festive period.
Clearly glad to have them back, Kerry - who is also mother to Heidi and Max (Mark Croft's daughters), as well her baby daughter DJ with new husband George - said:
It's a new year.A new week, kids back to school, A fresh chance to re-think your life and move in a new direction. Have a wonderful day xxxx
