The new programme is produced by Ellen DeGeneres (so it's pretty big news for Brook), and it's set to air in March.

According to the Mirror, Kelly plays Prudence, who gets married to Luke (Nick Zano), before finding out he's got her lesbian room mate, played by Elisha Cuthbert, pregnant.

A source reportedly told The Sun: "Producers thought Kelly was brilliant and very funny.

"It's a bonus that she's confident and comfortable showing off her body as the character of Prudence has no inhibitions."

Kelly has jetted over to LA to promote the new show, and was spotted looking lovely at the NBCUniversal Winter TCA.

She was a real 'English Rose' in a floral-print midi dress, and looked super-pretty working her signature curls and peachy makeup.

Kelly posed for pics with her One Big Happy co-stars, Elisha and Nick, and was generally glowing.

According to the Daily Mail, speaking on This Morning before her move, Kelly said: "Going to America and being told you're good at something, I think, 'OK, maybe I'm not in the wrong business and maybe I can do this.' It gives you more confidence."

Kelly has been sharing lots of tweets about the new programme, and recently wrote: "6am and I'm up to Film a @SuperBowl Spot with @TheEllenShow @HappyElishas @NICKZANO For our new show Premiering March 17th in NBC."

While she's Stateside, Kelly's also made sure to get her pamper time in, and was spotted visiting a beauty salon with some pals.
