The Dover Police Department in Delaware got a nod from pop superstar Taylor Swift this weekend after a video of an officer lip-syncing to 'Shake It Off' went viral.

Officer Jeff Davis was caught giving the enthusiastic rendition by a dashcam in his police car.

The footage prompted the local police department to upload the video to YouTube, and it quickly took off.

Taylor Swift even responded to the video herself, tweeting "LOLOLOLOL THE SASS".

Sadly, Mark Hoffman of the Dover Police Department has since admitted the video was staged. Boo.
