Princess Beatrice is not about to tie the knot with her long-term boyfriend, Dave Clark.
Not yet, anyway.
The 26-year-old royal has been in a relationship with the Virgin Galactic executive for seven years so we're guessing marriage has crossed their minds. Though, the rumours over a New Year's proposal during their recent trip to St. Barts are definitely just rumours.
Vanity Fairreports a close friend of Dave's has set things straight. "I have personally spoken with Dave and he has denied the story," he told the magazine.
"They were on holiday, but he says he didn't ask her to marry him."
To be fair to Dave, 31, the pressure to pop the question must be huge - and then there's the matter of how, when and where to get down on one knee. You know, with the element of surprise.
Maybe he still needs to get the old approval from Prince Andrew, the Duke of York? He must be well in with the royal family after seven whole years of dating.
So, will there be royal wedding later in 2015? Watch this space. They'll probably have to stay well clear of setting the date in April, though. There's another royal baby on the way, after all.
