Looking for some serious wardrobe inspiration? Given the terrifying pace of fashion trends, it would be churlish to wait for warmer weather to try out the trends spotted at the recent batch for Spring/Summer 2015. From New York and London to Milan and Paris, designers revelled in an anything goes mood that celebrated the simple pleasure of dressing up.
Stella McCartney, Celine and Marni showed monastic purity when it came to colour and form, while at the other end of the spectrum Chanel, Prada and Dries Van Noten waved the maximalist flag.
In between, there was plenty to inspire, from Hedi Slimane's 1970s rock chicks at Saint Laurent to Topshop Unique's new interpretation of sports luxe.
Classic trends like military and florals were imbued with new life thanks to the likes of Marc Jacobs and Phoebe Philo. And the chicest colour to invest in this season? Brown. Honesty, trust us on this one. Just remember to call it marron glacé.
