Emma Watson's Open Letter To Steve Carell Is Just Brilliant

Emma Watson's Open Letter To Steve Carell Is Just Brilliant

Emma Watson can do no wrong in our eyes.

Not just for her UN Women Goodwill Ambassador status, British eloquence or her "Wing-gar-dium Levi-o-sa", but because she writes a really good open letter.

This is the handwritten letter the 24-year-old actress wrote to actor Steve Carell thanking him for supporting the He For She campaign at the Oscars.

The Foxcatcher star chose to wear He For She cufflinks with his tuxedo suit to the awards ceremony proving that he's fully behind Em's gender equality campaign.

"Dear Steve Carell," she starts.

"You were pure genius in 'Little Miss Sunshine' (one of my all-time favourite films), my brother became obsessed with you after 'Anchorman'.

"I wanted to marry you or have you adopt me after 'Crazy Stupid Love', I hated that guy you played in 'The Way Way Back', and then you were mind-blowing in 'Foxcatcher', and I think you're so awesome and now you are wearing #HeForShe cufflinks at the Oscars to support gender equality.

"Couldn't be more proud. Thank you. Love Emma x."

Jake McDorman, who stars in American Sniper, also wore He For She cufflinks to the Academy Awards. He too received a shout out from Emma on Twitter. Here's what his note said...

We love this touch.
