The mother of a child who appeared to wee on the ‘This Morning’ carpet during Wednesday’s (20 July) show has defended the incident, claiming that it was actually just a “nappy leak”.
Adele Allen and her husband Matt were busy telling Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes about how successful their unusual “off-grid” parenting style is, when their one-year-old, Ostara, appeared to stop for a toilet break live on air.
However, the couple have now insisted that it was actually just a nappy leak in a post on their Facebook page ‘The Unconventional Parent’:
The couple’s interview sparked conversation on Twitter, and ‘This Morning’ almost immediately became a trending topic on the social media site.
Unfortunately, for the most part, viewers were unimpressed with their parenting style, which includes Adele breastfeeding five-year-old Ulysses, who does not attend school.
It has also since come to light that they appear to be trying to crowdfund £100,000, in order to fund their self-sustainable lifestyle. Yes, that’s right, they’re asking for donations to make themselves self-sustainable.
